Accounting Clerk

Full Time Position​

Location: Administrative (Corporate)

Status: Non-Exempt

Position Summary

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing accounting support to the Full Charge Bookkeeper. This individual will manage accounts payable postings and assist with payroll processing as needed. Additionally, provides required data and assistance as needed for monthly financial statements and annual audit. 


  • Handle accounts payable and receivable duties

  • Conduct bank reconciliations as needed

  • Assists and provides coverage for the Full Charge Bookkeeper

  • Run errands between the two facility locations and make bank deposits.



  • Knowledge and experience with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

  • Strong problem solving skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

  • Excellent computer proficiency

  • Strong knowledge of accounting software and bookkeeping principles

  • Valid drivers’ license and reliable transportation (clean abstract)

Education & Experience Requirements

  •  Associates degree or higher in Accounting or related field from an accredited college

  •  2 years minimum experience in healthcare environment preferred.



  •  Primarily Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

  •  Duties may require after hours work including weekends and holidays, as needed.
