RN Compliance and Quality Auditor
Full Time Position
Location: Administrative (Corporate)
Status: Exempt
Position Summary
Responsible to the Director of Compliance and Quality for support in facilitating the Hawaii Care Choices Compliance and Quality program, including but not limited to policy development, program monitoring, and identifying improvement measures as well as conducting educational in-services related to matters of improvement. The Compliance and Quality programs will uphold the standards that ensure compliance with protected health information, safety management and emergency preparedness, and education related to these areas to promote and maintain the highest level of organizational excellence.
Skill & Knowledge Requirements

Demonstrates excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to read and comprehend data in order to make improvements as well as compiling information to report to management team and/or to Board of Directors.

Understands HIPAA, OSHA, local State & Federal regulations as it applies to hospice.

Excellent problem solving skills.

Ability to work with a diverse team.

Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

Ability to navigate electronic medical record database.
Education & Experience Requirements

Graduate of a registered nursing curriculum; BSN degree or higher preferred.

Possession and maintenance of a valid Hawai`i State nursing license.

Minimum of 2 yrs. experience in a healthcare environment or equivalent position.

Valid drivers license.

Hospice experience preferred.
Hours:
-
Primarily Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Duties may require after hours work including weekends and holidays, as needed.
